Evolution Trio is a global fusion basement band that mashes up Middle Eastern and Afro-Cuban rhythms with Spanish & Latin-flavored acoustic guitar and post-modern hard rock bass. Their music is dynamic and intense, flowing seamlessly from blazing displays of virtuosity to atmospheric chill out grooves. They play exotic instrumental original compositions and reinvent classic pop and dance song favorites.

Brief Biography

Bellingham-based Evolution Trio formed early in 2009 and rapidly created an underground buzz with their captivating live shows featuring a unique brand of world fusion rock. By August, the group was a hit at the Bellingham 2009 La Bella Strada arts festival in downtown Bellingham and performed a scorching set in front of hundreds of festival goers. In October 2009, Evolution Trio entered Bayside Studio with producer Chip Westerfield to record two original instrumental songs. Their studio recording debut will be available on iTunes in early 2010.
